Scorpion EXO Combat
This is not a typical motorcycle helmet. With its aggressive urban design, the helmet can be adapted for use with any type of scooter. The removable rear sleeve allows the Scorpion EXO Combat Evo to transform from a full-face helmet appearance into a 3/4 open-face helmet, which is also ECE approved.
Material
The outer shell is made of advanced LG polycarbonate, exclusively developed by Scorpion and designed to reduce weight and disperse impact.
While polycarbonate is somewhat heavier than other materials like fiberglass and carbon fiber, it remains a durable material. You also get a dual-density EPS foam liner that combines hard and soft EPS foam to protect against various types of impacts.
The removable chin bar, or face shield, comes with neodymium magnets to ensure secure attachment, and the exterior is made of soft rubber that is quite flexible. For this reason, it won't provide impact protection, though it will support wind and dust protection. The helmet weighs about 1250g in size M.
Visor
The integrated flip-down sun visor can be retracted and tinted to reduce eye strain in different lighting conditions. The helmet comes with a built-in dark smoke visor.
When flipped up, the visor is completely out of the way as it folds inside the helmet, and when flipped down with the chin bar engaged, the seal inside the chin bar helps close everything up, reducing the amount of dirt and wind during the ride.
Ventilation
The Scorpion EXO Combat Evo features an air-adjustable ventilation system on top of the helmet, which will help draw in air and keep your forehead dry in warm weather conditions when using the full-face variant, so you can stay fresh and cool.
The EPS liner also comes with cutouts for ventilation, and the removable chin bar has microfleece lining and ventilation openings that allow airflow.
